Intellectual Property Notice

1. OWNERSHIP OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All intellectual property rights in and to the SafeBets platform, including but not limited to its architecture, systems, methodologies, probabilistic models, algorithms, software code, data structures, interfaces, documentation, branding, know-how, techniques, and proprietary processes, and all associated concepts (collectively, the "SafeBets IP") are owned exclusively by or licensed to SafeBets.

SafeBets IP includes, without limitation:

  • Probabilistic forecasting frameworks, aggregation methodologies, and scoring systems
  • Accuracy tracking, performance attribution, and reputation modelling systems
  • Slot-based participation, access control, and allocation mechanisms
  • Data ingestion, validation, normalization, and processing pipelines
  • Platform workflows, system architecture, and user interaction models
  • Proprietary datasets, historical performance data, and behavioural intelligence
  • All analytics outputs, statistical models, and system-level insights derived therefrom

All improvements, enhancements, derivatives, and extensions of the foregoing, whether created internally or arising from platform use, shall form part of the SafeBets IP.

2. DATA RIGHTS AND PROPRIETARY INTELLIGENCE

Without limitation to the foregoing, SafeBets retains exclusive ownership of all aggregated, anonymized, and derived data generated through operation of the platform, including but not limited to:

  • Performance histories and longitudinal accuracy records
  • System-level probabilistic outputs and meta-models
  • Behavioural, interaction, and participation datasets
  • Benchmarking, ranking, and scoring outputs

Such data constitutes proprietary platform intelligence and may be used, commercialized, licensed, or otherwise exploited by SafeBets without restriction. No rights are granted to users or third parties in respect of such derived data.

3. PATENT RIGHTS AND PROPRIETARY METHODS

SafeBets may seek patent protection in respect of certain systems, methods, and processes embodied within the platform, including but not limited to forecasting mechanisms, allocation models, scoring systems, and participation controls.

Nothing in this Notice shall be construed as a waiver of any patent rights, whether filed, pending, or unfiled. All such rights are expressly reserved.

4. PROTECTION OF RIGHTS

SafeBets IP is protected under applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, database rights, trade secrets, and patent law, across all relevant jurisdictions.

No license, right, or interest in SafeBets IP is granted to any user, participant, or third party except as expressly set out in a written agreement duly authorized by SafeBets.

5. RESTRICTIONS ON USE

Except as expressly permitted in writing, users and third parties shall not, directly or indirectly:

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works of any SafeBets IP
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract underlying logic, models, or methodologies
  • Use the platform, outputs, or data to develop, train, fine-tune, or validate any competing system, model, algorithm, or artificial intelligence system
  • Access, scrape, extract, or systematically collect platform data, outputs, or metadata
  • Conduct benchmarking, performance analysis, or comparative studies for external publication or competitive purposes
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any access controls or participation mechanisms

6. USER CONTRIBUTIONS AND LICENSE GRANT

Users retain ownership of any original content they submit to the SafeBets platform. However, by submitting such content, users grant SafeBets a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, process, analyze, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and incorporate such content into the operation, improvement, and commercialization of the platform.

This includes, without limitation, the right to incorporate such content into aggregated datasets, statistical models, machine learning systems, and system-level outputs, and to commercialize any derived data, insights, or outputs.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, users hereby irrevocably waive, and agree not to assert, any and all moral rights (including rights of attribution, integrity, or similar rights) in any content submitted to SafeBets. Where such rights cannot be waived, users agree not to enforce such rights against SafeBets or its licensees, successors, or assigns.

7. FEEDBACK AND IMPROVEMENTS

Any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or improvements provided by users or third parties shall be deemed non-confidential and may be used by SafeBets without restriction or obligation. Users hereby irrevocably assign any rights in such feedback to SafeBets to the extent permitted by law.

All resulting improvements or enhancements shall form part of the SafeBets IP.

8. CONFIDENTIALITY AND TRADE SECRETS

Certain elements of the SafeBets platform, including but not limited to algorithms, models, system architecture, and data structures, constitute confidential information and trade secrets ("Confidential Information").

Users and third parties shall not disclose, use, or exploit such Confidential Information except as strictly necessary for permitted use of the platform.

These obligations shall survive termination of any relationship with SafeBets.

9. ENFORCEMENT AND REMEDIES

SafeBets reserves the right to enforce its intellectual property rights to the fullest extent permitted by law. Unauthorized use of SafeBets IP may result in immediate suspension or termination of access and may give rise to civil and/or criminal liability.

SafeBets shall be entitled to seek injunctive relief, equitable remedies, and damages, including for irreparable harm, without the requirement to post bond where permitted by law.

10. NO IMPLIED RIGHTS

Nothing in this Notice or in the use of the platform shall be construed as granting any license, right, or interest in SafeBets IP other than as expressly provided in writing.

11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Notice shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Notice, including the validity, interpretation, enforcement, or breach thereof, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York. The parties hereby irrevocably submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue or inconvenient forum.
