Gaming / No-Wagering Declaration

1. PURPOSE AND NATURE OF THE PLATFORM

SafeBets is a probabilistic forecasting and decision intelligence platform designed for the submission, evaluation, and analysis of forecasts relating to real-world events.

The platform is informational, analytical, and performance-tracking in nature. It does not facilitate or enable gambling, betting, wagering, or financial trading.

2. NO CONSIDERATION (NO FINANCIAL PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT)

Participation in SafeBets does not require the payment, staking, or risking of money, digital assets, or any item of monetary value.

Specifically:

  • No entry fees, stakes, or deposits are required to participate
  • No participant is exposed to financial loss based on platform activity
  • No user funds are pooled, held, or allocated for outcome-based purposes

3. NO PRIZE OR FINANCIAL INCENTIVE

SafeBets does not provide prizes, winnings, or financial incentives based on event outcomes or forecast accuracy.

In particular:

  • No monetary rewards, payouts, or compensation are provided for correct forecasts
  • No transferable, redeemable, or monetisable rewards are issued
  • No participant receives economic or financial benefit as a result of forecast performance

Any recognition mechanisms (if present) are strictly non-monetary, non-transferable, and have no cash value or redemption capability.

4. NO ECONOMIC EXPOSURE OR OUTCOME-LINKED VALUE

SafeBets does not create, facilitate, or enable any form of economic exposure to the outcome of events.

Specifically:

  • No participant holds a position, contract, or instrument tied to an event outcome
  • No financial or transferable value is created, allocated, or distributed based on correctness of predictions
  • No mechanism exists by which users may profit, gain, or incur loss from event outcomes

For the avoidance of doubt, participation in the SafeBets platform does not provide, and shall not be interpreted as providing, any form of economic or financial benefit, whether direct or indirect, contingent or non-contingent, arising from the accuracy of forecasts or the outcome of any event. No user may derive, realise, or expect to realise any monetary value, financial return, or transferable advantage from participation in the platform.

5. NO FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS, DERIVATIVES, OR EVENT CONTRACTS

SafeBets does not issue, facilitate, or support financial instruments or contracts of any kind, including but not limited to:

  • Event-based contracts or prediction market instruments
  • Binary options or outcome-linked derivatives
  • Swaps, futures, or similar financial arrangements

The platform does not create or replicate the economic characteristics of a derivatives market.

6. NO GAMBLING OR GAMING SERVICES

SafeBets does not operate as, and does not provide the functionality of:

  • A sportsbook, betting exchange, or casino
  • A gaming operator or gambling intermediary
  • A prize competition or pool-based wagering system

No games of chance or mixed chance/skill activities involving financial outcomes are offered.

7. TOKENS AND DIGITAL ASSETS

Any digital tokens or assets associated with SafeBets, if introduced, shall function solely as non-financial utility mechanisms.

Such tokens:

  • Shall not be used for staking, wagering, or outcome-based participation
  • Shall not entitle holders to payouts, winnings, or financial returns
  • Shall not represent a financial position, contract, or claim linked to event outcomes
  • Shall not be redeemable for monetary value based on performance or results

SafeBets does not operate or support any secondary market or trading functionality in relation to outcome-linked instruments.

Any digital tokens or assets associated with SafeBets shall not be transferable, tradeable, or otherwise capable of being exchanged for monetary value, whether within or outside the platform. Such tokens shall not be listed on any exchange or secondary market, nor shall they confer any economic rights, financial return, or market-based value. SafeBets does not support, facilitate, or recognize any external market or pricing mechanism in respect of such tokens.

Any tokens or digital assets associated with SafeBets shall have no intrinsic, implied, or market-derived economic value and shall not be capable of generating financial benefit, whether directly or indirectly.

8. NO SECONDARY MARKETS OR TRANSFERABLE VALUE

SafeBets does not provide, support, or facilitate any form of secondary market, exchange, or transfer mechanism for outcome-linked value.

Users cannot buy, sell, transfer, or otherwise monetize any position, score, ranking, or participation outcome.

9. REGULATORY POSITIONING AND DESIGN INTENT

SafeBets is designed and operated to fall outside the scope of:

  • Gambling, betting, and wagering regulation
  • Financial services and derivatives regulation

The platform is structured as a non-wagering, non-financial, informational system and does not rely on regulatory exemptions or interpretative positioning.

10. COMPLIANCE CONTROLS AND RESTRICTIONS

SafeBets may implement jurisdictional controls, user restrictions, or feature limitations to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory expectations.

The platform reserves the right to modify or restrict functionality where necessary to preserve its non-wagering and non-financial classification.

11. NO IMPLIED GAMBLING OR FINANCIAL FUNCTIONALITY

Nothing in the platform, its outputs, documentation, or communications shall be interpreted as offering or enabling gambling, wagering, financial trading, or investment activity.

12. USER RESPONSIBILITY

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the platform complies with applicable laws in their jurisdiction.
